Spring Outdoor Artisan Market
The Town of High River is bringing an artisan market to life.
Vendors can pre-register at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex and need to bring their own tents.
Table(s) included.
High River Parade of Garage Sales
Register your house to hold a garage sale on June 8th. We will provide you with a sign and you will be added to the list of sales and map for the day. Last year we had over 120 sales all over town.
Bike Rodeo
Join the Town of High River for a fun filled day with your bike!
Find us in the East parking lot at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex where we will challenge you to learn new skills through stations.
Find out information about the Bike Index from our Protective Services team, and sign-up for a High River Library card from the library's Book Bike!
Father's Day Art in the Park
Join us for a Saturday afternoon of art and crafts with dad for Father’s Day.

Friday Night Campfire Stories
Do you love campfire stories?
Join the Town of High River at Little Bow Campground behind the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex for a campfire, stories and smores hosted by Parks & Recreation.
Bring a lawn chair, and a blanket to cozy by the fire and enjoy an evening to connect with the community.
George Lane Movie Night
Join the Town of High River to watch the movie "Big Hero 6" on their 20 ft inflatable screen in George Lane Park at the stage.
Bring blankets, chairs, snacks and anything to make this night a cozy one to remember.
All ages welcome.
The Heart of High River - Volunteer Fair
Are you looking to volunteer?
Your community needs your help and what better way to find out more than by coming to our Heart of High River event on May 15th! We will have over 20 different different service clubs and non-profit groups with us excited to tell you about what they do.
We hope to see you there! All ages are welcome and entry is free!

The Town of High River is holding a free roller skate/blade party in our arena to give you a night of skating, dancing, and singing while enjoying a night with friends and community!
Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Please provide your own roller skates or blades. Helmets are mandatory for all ages.
Ages 8-12 are welcome to skate from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
Ages 13-17 are welcome to skate from 8:00pm - 10:00pm.

Magic Moments on the History & Operations of the Wales Theatre
“Magic Moments on the History & operations of the Wales Theatre” for public showing April 6, 2024
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation has completed a documentary highlighting the history of High River’s beloved Wales Theatre.
The show is open to the public for free admission on April 6, 2024 at 2:00 Wales Theatre in Down Town High River.
The show starts at 2:00 PM and is 60 minutes long.

About the Artist:
Saeid Asgarian is a professional Iranian director with his first master’s degree in theatre directing from the University of Tehran. In his current Theatre Studies graduate work at the University of Calgary, he is analyzing the role of theatre as a social tool for integration.
Saeid has directed, written, dramaturged, acted, and stage-designed dozens of professional productions, including Room No. 3 (2022), Life (2021), 60 Minutes Minus One (2019), A Memory of Two Mondays by Arthur Miller (2019), Winter by Jon Fosse (2018), etc.
His current artistic approach includes participatory and laboratory theatre to create his shows and understand better what theatre can do for society and humans.
